COVID-19 POLICY

Policy

Our policy includes the measures which are actively taken to mitigate the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Follow all rules diligently to sustain a healthy and safe workplace in this unique environment.

Scope

This coronavirus policy applies to all who physically enter our office(s) and workspaces to ensure we collectively and uniformly respond to this challenge.

Elements

Respiratory etiquette and general hygiene rules:

  • Wash your hands after using the toilet, before eating, and if you cough/sneeze into your hands (follow the 20-second hand-washing rule). You can also use the sanitizers you’ll find around the office and on-site workspaces.
  • Cough/sneeze into your sleeve, preferably into your elbow. If you use a tissue, discard it properly and clean/sanitize your hands immediately.
  • Open the windows regularly to ensure open ventilation.
  • Avoid touching your face, particularly eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands to prevent the spread of this virus.
  • If you find yourself coughing/sneezing on a regular basis, avoid close physical contact with others and take extra precautionary measures (such as requesting sick leave and rescheduling).

Social distancing

Avoid large public gatherings. Limit the face-to-face contact with others is the best way to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Social distancing, also known as “physical distancing,” means keeping space between you and other people outside of your home. To practice the social distancing stay at least 6 feet (about 2 meters) from other people.

Reduce transmission among employee

To protect yourself, your co-workers and clients:

  • Stop shaking hands to greet others
  • Avoid non-essential meetings. If needed, hold meetings via video conferencing or phone call
  • Put off large meetings to a later date
  • Hold essential meetings outside in the open air if possible
  • Provide alcohol-based hand rub for all staff
  • Eat lunch at your desk or outside rather than in the lunchroom
  • Regularly clean and disinfect surfaces that many people touch
  • Limit food handling and sharing of food in the workplace
  • Promote strict hygiene among food preparation (canteen) staff and their close contacts
  • Personal protection equipment policy
  • Some equipment should be used to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
  • Face masks should be used properly without touching them frequently.
  • Disposable gloves should be used to prevent the virus.
  • Routine environment cleaning policy
  • It is good practice to routinely clean surfaces. Clean frequently touched surfaces with detergent solution.

Traveling/commuting measures

  • In-person meetings should be done virtually where possible, especially with non-company parties (e.g., candidate interviews and partners).
  • If you normally commute to the office by public transportation and do not have other alternatives, we urge you to request to work from home as a precaution.
  • If you are planning to travel voluntarily to a high-risk country with increased COVID-19 cases, upon returning you are required to work from home for 14 calendar days. You will also be asked not to come into physical contact with any colleagues during this time.
